Bob Knipe

Bob 'Coach K' Knipe is one of the revolutionary Health and Physical Teachers at the University of Texas Elementary School. Robert received his Bachelors of Science at Montclair State University where he was recognized as the National Association of Sports and Physical Education (NASPE) Major of the Year. He was then accepted into a graduate program called the Polar Scholar Program in which he received his Masters with a focus in the use of technology in Physical Education. Bob teaches at the University of Texas Elementary, a demonstration charter school, as the director of the Healthy Families Initiative, a coordinated school health program and Physical Education Teacher for all grades, Pre K - 5th. Mr. Knipe was recognized in 2011 as UTES' Teacher of the Year and is active in his local, state, and national association as a member and presenter. Bob 'Coach K' Knipe motto is wellness for all because he believes all people should have an equal opportunity to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle.
